As long as it falls on the same grade level e.g. Dexron III as recommended by your car manufacturer it should be safe.

As a general rule: If changing any kind of fluid/lubricant, it is always best to fully purge/flush all the old liquid before putting on the fresh fluids. Its okay to mix two different power steering fluid as long as they conform to the recommendation of the manufacturer.

But it sure would be better if you only use one type of PSF on your system.

Suzuki rin ang ride mo diba sir olidotcom?

The Jimny accepts any kind of shitty ATF. hehe. Seriously Dex III ata. The APV should have it in its manual. Just don't mix different types but it's ok to mix different brands as long as they are the same type.

A complete drain and refill is always ideal but when unable to do so immediately, your PS system won't self destruct.

    OT:

I think the same holds true for mixing of brake fluid as long as same type is used e.g. DOT 3. Based from what i read, ung coolant ang dapat huwag i-mixed, preferably same brand dapat pag coolant.
