and it cost P1,350 each (P400. ang labor).

    front shocks cost P2thou+ daw.

depends on what kind of car you're driving... most FF cars put weight in front so the front shocks have to be made to a higher standard.

actually the prices of shocks depends on the suspension type of the car. usually mas mahal ang mc-pherson type strut for the front and the independent link type for the rear. yung mga torsion beam type suspension sa likod ay mura lang (hindi P2000+). also, mas mura ang shocks ng mga auv.

In my case, pareho lang price.

For my Fronts... KYB Gas-A-Just din, like Zero's, but i got them for Php 800 per piece.

Rear ko... KYB Super same price din.

Both are low pressure gas shocks, but mas maganda Gas-A-Just coz theyre stiffer.

    mk,

Mas mahal ang front shocks kesa rear. For Series 3, gas type yung ilagay mo sa rear. KYB is OK, puwede din Tokiko.

Pero I'd suggest to get the Nissan Key Value shocks.

madali lang malaman kung nagleleak ang shocks mo. the best is to jack up the car or u can turn the wheel all the way to the left or the right and leave it like that . then take a peek under ur wheel wells. just make sure u didn't run through a puddle or u didnt just had the car washed. in short ur car's underchassis must be dry. actually a leaking shock absorber is very obvious once u peek under. u can touch the shock stem to check for leaking fluid. just make sure to return the wheel to its normal position. leaving it like that is very straineous to ur tie rods.

front shocks are bigger in over-all diameter compared to the ones in the rear. that's why they're more expensive. of course they have to beef up the front suspension (most especially in front wheel drive cars) to cope up with all the weight of the engine , drivetrain and other components.
