It may not seem like anything's wrong over metro roads, but go out to the provinces, and the differences will be obvious.

Many old 90's compact cars already had very soft shock absorbers... cutting the springs would make them fail even faster...

Take it from those who have been there, done that... cutting the stock springs makes for terrible handling (wouldn't notice it on the L3... those handle like crud, anyway... ), poor bounce control and eventual shock damage.

Use proper lowering springs... and spend the extra money to also buy upgraded shock absorbers.

Look at the road ruts, bumps, humps, potholes, floods, etc. Do you think your lowered car can handle and withstand these? Much better naka body lift. Lowered cars are only for thec race tracks. Better have your budget on other car maintenance items.

    mga sirs at chiefs

im advicing you not to cut your stock springs to lower your tsikots by doing the shortcut ways, guess what ako ung been there, done that... na sinabi ni chief niky. and guess what again, sobrang matagtag ung tsikot ku, lalu na nung tumagal parang 'di na nagpplay yung shocks.. taken from what sir speed unlimited said...

Gud Day mga Sirs/Mam, Been lurking in tsikot forums for some time now reading a lot of tips from the experts.

Anyways, I'm pretty much convince by the experts to avoind "Putol".

TY in advance for the replies
