1.5" drop is sakto lang. Maski 4 or lima sakay mo hindi sasayad yan unless sa road bumps.

Huwag kang mag-paputol ng springs at sayang lang. Or less magmumukhang cheap ang auto mo especially yung mga front lang ang naka-lower at lalong mawawalan ng porma. Nagiging trying-hard na race car. In short JOLOGS.

Yes, but that will still result in the suspension bottoming out since your spring rate is still the same but your suspension travel has shortened (unless you have enough clearance for your tires under the fender).

The method you mentioned required cutting the spring perch from the shocks and welding it back on at a lower position. This is something like a low cost version of a coil-over spring setup. But would you trust your ride on some spot welds that could break at the worst possible moment (like when you are heavily loaded or cornering hard)?

korek...ang durability nya depends on the welder, so medyo questionable pa rin ito.

but imho, cruven and zee does this.

buhayin ko lang to, may nabasa ako dito somewhere na yung sa lovelife corolla, ay may lutang effect kapag mabilis na takbo, at solusyon ng iba ay ilowered yung sasakyan sa harap.. naexp ko din to sa lovelife altis ko at around 90-100kph or more, so since mahal ang lowering springs, ok lang ba ang putol kapag .5 inch lang ang ibabawas, ayoko naman kasi ibaba ng 1 inch or more dahil parang di na ok.. yung sa iba naman kasi grabe 1.5 to 3 inches parang sobra.... thanks in advance

    Don't.

If you feel the front end is too floaty at high speeds, upgrade the front shocks to better ones to make the ride more controlled.

Lowering springs na. Konting gastos lang pero sigurado ka naman. Mahirap i-try yun mga putolputol na mura, sigurado mapapamura ka pag lumaki ang diperensya.

It depends. Depends on what level of H&R you get... if you get the race springs, absolutely not. If you get "just" the sports springs, your original shocks should last a while. But if your shocks are already on their way out, or if you combine the lowering springs with heavy mags (like 17"), your shocks may not last very long.

It'll depend on use, too. If you drive over a lot of rough roads, that'll accelerate the wear on your shocks due to the lowering springs.
