    ask lang what lowering spring do you recommend, branded and surplus? does a japan surplus RSR lowering spring compromise the ride? planning to have 1.5" drop. need your feedback. thanks in advance

    Change your shocks while you're at it. Lowering springs will increase shock wear. The shocks might last only half as long or only even a few months, depending on how stiff the springs are and how bad your local roads are.

    And yes, some lowering springs will make it ride like a jeepney... you'll have to get on a Toyota specific forum and ask around if anyone has a list of the spring-rates for common lowering springs. Find one that's close to stock, and that's your best bet.

    hmmm. your car is new. sayang ang warranty, baka may tamaang iba sa suspension.
    if you would really like it, ang suggestion ko is get the lowering parts from the casa itself.
