low on power steering fluid

Same happen to me, pero ni-re-refill ko na lang, dahl bihira namin gamitin yung kotse kesa ipagawa, ang estimate kasi more than 10k kung ipa-rerepair.
Yung one bottle ng STP Power Steering Fluid is around 75.00 lang, it will last for three months.

kaso po sa akin, every 2 or 3 days ako nakakarga...ang sabi sa akin nung mekaniko...palitan ko daw ng surplus yung shaft kasi may gasgas
ok po ba yun...san ba pwede bumili nun...

hmm... shaft ng ano? na-check mo ba kung saan yun leak sa power steering? pwede kasi sa gearbox, pwede din sa tubo, or dun sa pump. medyo mabigat ang magpa-ayos nyan since kelangan iwan yun sasakyan. pinpoint mo muna kung saan ang location ng tagas at kung nagbago yun manibela. bumigat ba? may tunog pag kinabig? san tumutunog etc. kung basta dadalhin mo lang sa mekaniko eh baka mapamahal lalo na kung taga yun mekaniko

check where the leak is comming from and have it fixed.

Gaano ba katagal bago maubos ang fluid sa reservoir? at ilang weeks or months ang normal na pag refill nun?

ideally di sya dapat nagbabawas unless there is a leak.

*speedyfix - nagpapalit na ako ng oil seals sa power steering kaso mukhang naging worst, 1 day pa lang ko ubos lahat ulit ng fluid at basang basa ung sa ilalim ng sasakyan.... ano na kaya problem nun?

Same thing happened to me sir. Pero, i was fortunate enough na nangyari yung pagleak after 1 hour of testing sa talyer.

Kaya, binaba ulit ang power steering. If i am not mistaken, they remedied the problem by putting 2 oil seal on each side. Bale naging 4 na ang power steering oil seal ko. OEM yung mga PS kit na binili nila.

All in all, almost 6k yung gastos ko sa paggawa.

So far, so good.

just had my ps hoses replaced. paraehong tumagas. it was easy to spot kasi there was a puddle of ps fluid under the car.

i suggest you have it checked out. preventive meaintenance is less expensive than corrective maintenance.
