Naaayos pa po ba ito? Wala daw kasi repair kit ang 2005 Nissan Sentra GX 1.3 A/T kundi buong assembly ang bibilhin (as per casa).

There is always a repair kit for it.

Just remember. The "casa" never repairs. "Casa" always replace entire assemblies. That is how they make more money than simply fixing the actual problem. A P1,200 repair job suddenly becomes a P25,000 assembly replacement job at the casa.

You will have to go to a car service shop to have it done. SPEEDYFIX or SPEEDLAB can handle that problem. (you can google their website for contact number and address).

Also most gasoline service stations can also service that problem but you have to check if they have a repair kit available in stock for your car.

^Thanks sa suggestion sir. I'll try to have it repaired sa labas muna kung kaya pa.

kung leak lang talaga and walang tama yung rack and pinon, oil seal lang yan sir. it would not cost more than 2k with labor. well it depends on what shop you bring it in. try pasay kung simpling oil seal lang. mura pyesa dun.

yung sa kin nagkaron ng leak yung rack ang pinion after a month or two nung pinapalitan ko ng fluid as part of preventive maintenance. di naman malakas na leak, it goes from high to low level in a span of 7-8 weeks.

Please help!

Your steering problem must be solved by now but it can happen again in the future.
Your rack and pinion definitely had an oil seal failure. Repair kits basically include a pair of oil seal, O-rings for the hydraulic fittings, clips, and perhaps a sachet of grease. If the repair kit is no available, you could purchase the said items separately. It won't save you time but it will save you money.

You can absolutely Continue driving with a busted oil seal, but you cannot drive with an empty reservoir. A dry reservoir could damage your pump. To prevent this, disable your pump by removing the fan belt attached to the pump and to the center pulley.

If i can recall Toto power steering specialist ang name at 179 BMA ave. ang location.
