Hi,
Naging prob ko ito when I bought a second hand car last January. 2 weeks ago, pinalitan ko ng a pair of bendix brake pads sa speedyfix. Nawala iyung ingay. Tama sila, iyung ibang replacement maingay lang talaga kahit makapal pa. Sabi ng mechanic, ito daw ginagamit ng mga ibang taxi After 6 months, tahimik na oto ko pag nag b brake.
Hope this works for you too

July 16th, 2007 06:50 AM #12pinalitan ko na din ng bendix yung pads ko despite na makapal pa yung luma... almost 2 weeks na sya... well sana 6 months e mawala nga yung sound gaya nung sa'yo... pero hanggang ngayon meron pa din kasi... i've been the mechanics ilang beses na e... paglabas kasi ng garahe tahimik, then kapag nasa byahe na ako, dun sya lumalabas... and may mga maiitim na parang dust particles na namumuo sa mags ko... i assume galing sa pads ko yun dahil inobserbahan namin, wala namang napupudpod or tama yung brake assembly tsaka rotor disk... tnx sa mga input mga fellow tsikoteers...

pa check mo ang metal indicator sa pads. the installer might have not assembled it properly and it hits the rotor everytime you brake.

Have your pads checked. They're either mis-installed or something's come loose.
Mine do that because the metal backing plate between the pad and the caliper is loose, giving some extra play to the pad. Bendix rin.
I'm going to my mechanic to have the pads replaced with new ones (kahit makapal pa) just to get rid of this problem. Sayang pa naman, one side lang ang problematic.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
