Yup. Save your money for lowering springs.

"Putol" springs can destroy your shocks. While lowering springs can also destroy your shocks, "putol" springs will destroy them faster, because they'll allow the car to bottom out more, stressing the shocks.

"Ipit" springs will suffer from unbalanced spring rates (as the bound springs will not be stock rate, anymore, and likely won't have the same rates as each other due to differences in binding), easier bottoming out, early sagging (if they're compressed all the time, they'll lose their firmness) and provide the danger of an uneven ride if one of the bindings breaks.

Do it properly. Save your money and buy what's best for your car... the real deal.
