Handbrake light sa dashboard intermittently lighting on

That light will be amber in color. The brake warning light is red in color on your instrument panel.

It's not the amber one bro. It was also the brake light warning in the instrument panel.

Nung mapalitan yung isang pundidong ilaw nawala na.

Wiring issue perhaps kasi nakuha ko yung unit na yun as second hand??? I didn't bother to check that time because I considered it a convenient way for me to know to check if there are busted brake lights.

age of car? last time the brake pads were changed?


1. some brake pads have wear indicator. they make a screeching sound when it needs replacement.

2. brake fluid should be clear. if not its time for a replacement with proper bleeding.

3. hand brake normally has 5-6clicks. if its more, adjustment has to be made...

To sir stockengine:

1. yes, there is a screeching sound when I applied the brake. But not all the time. I know may indicator nga sa brakes pag pudpud na. And napansin ko before na hindi pa umiilaw yung indicator sa dash e madami akong nakikitang break dust sa mags ko but lately parang konti na siya. I guess it is also an indicator na paubos na nga brake pads ko.

2. Brake fulid in is a bit dark. Im not sure kung sa fluid lang iyon o madumi na reservoir ko. Planning to have it clean and bleed siguro before replenishing the fluid.

3. handbrake is normal naman.

I guess I'll have the first 2 check up first. It could be either or both issues. maraming salamat sa replies guys.
