hindi ganun ka simple yun and sometimes it is not that safe to do a conversion (on an enginering point of view)...kasi dito sa pinas ay "cut and paste" tayo....

what is normally done is get a "donor" car rear brake set-up na disk brake and then replace the existing. Simple to look into pero maraming "unknowns" like fit and dimension and of course braking power....baka instead na lumakas ang preno ay lalo itong humina.

as they say ang braking power ng oto ay nasa harap and not the rear brakes...as such, having disk brake sa rear is not really a necessity for stopping. the drum brakes is more than enough (for the stock condition).

now if you modified your car power...that is a different thing....

Para sa mga 1960's muscle cars which have stock drum brakes, meron ng mga bolt-on conversion kits with the following brands: 1) Stainless Steel Brakes; 2) BAER Brakes; 3) MP Brakes; and the like...

These kits range from USD 600 to as high as USD 3,500.00 depending on the specs you'll be installing. Complete na ito together with the brake lines, caliper (single or multiple pistons), rotors, etc...
