February 8th, 2009 09:40 AM #1Hello fellow tsikoteers I would like to ask something..
well i'm kinda new around here and I have had my very first car just a few weeks ago (actually its a second hand car) and I would like to know if there
is any commercial product that actually protect disk brakes from accumulating rust spots after car washing? Actually I just recently installed a 19" mags for my ride and it had these wide spaces in between wherein you could actually see the disk brakes from a distant POV. The rust spots are a pain in my eyes and Its very hard for me to poke inside the wheel to clean the rust spots and it is really a time consuming effort. If there is any commercial products out there please let me know...tnx in advance!!

Rust is a normal occurrence when the rotor gets wet. It's pretty much harmless and they'll clean by themselves with just a few minutes of driving.

its just plain normal.
just drive the car around then apply the breaks and the rust will be gone.
