Singit lang me, ako bought Bendix Metal King (installed * front) 2 1/2 yrs. ago for P1k only (..bargained ehh, hehe!) * Coltline banawe. Originally priced * P1.2k before,.. now, not sure sa price, baka more or less P1.5k/set na.

So far so good, kapal parin ng pads nung akin both front & rear. Rear brakes are Bendix Standard only! :D

nagpa service ako ng car (casa) and i was advised na kelangan na palitan yan brake pads ko it would only last another 5k kms (and another 5k and im gonna have to bring the car back sa casa). and its going to cost me another 15k (it includes na the labor)

so im looking into other options like after market pads. ano maganda and ok na brake pads for an american car(suburban). i dont think im willing to spend another 15k after spending a whole lot din for the regular thingie... help san kaya din meron ako mabibilhan?

    merci d'avance!

thunder and nemerson carries ABP, FadeFree and Federal Mogul pads and shoes for most ford and chevy vehicles. its around P1800-2200 per set when i bought one for my suburban early this year. i've been using ABP pads for my f-150 for a long time already and performs good naman. if its for daily driving lang naman ok na yan.

It's better if you can get non-metal pads (asbestos ata material ng ganon). They will almost not eat up your rotors unlike metal ones (siyempre as a result of metal-to-metal friction).

nope... been using them for a long time na... ABP are semi-metallic premium pads... it is made in canada.... masmaikli lang konti ang lifetime nya compared to OEM pads pero i can just buy another set kung naubos sya at a pricetag of just P2,000 more or less. im running 18's on 285/60/R18 tires on my f-150 and 20's on 265/50/R20 tires on my sub pero OEM comparable naman ang braking power nya....

Tama, AC Delco ang gumagawa ng piyesa for GM. Pati mga shocks, audio equipment, etc.

Try looking at online parts center. Common car lang naman ang Suburban sa States. Para may idea ka sa presyo ng replacements.

i agree, if you're looking for OEM parts, try the internet : ebay.com or rockauto.com. makakamura ka sa cost ng parts as compared to dealership, or those binondo shops... kahit i-add mo na ang shipping mura pa rin sya....
