July 6th, 2020 03:07 PM #251Different ang corporate history ni Advics O.E.M. sa Advics aftermarket, gumawa na sila ng solely aftermarket division just to handle the aftermarket.
Maculet isipin mo ito how come P3,300 ang price ng Advics kung O.E.M. talaga na products ang binebenta niya vs. the aftermarket replacement brand/s like FIC na nasa P2,800?
Can you believe that an OEM maker can price their products near and aftermarket replacement brand with only P500 pesos difference? That is only 15% price difference.
Aisin's water pump that is being sourced from China is also even cheaper than GMB's water pump brand by 10~15%.
The sources actually came from Aisin Aftermarket's Singapore employees which are unconsciously disclosing them to their friends or acquaintances which are working in different automotive companies in Singapore since Singapore is so small and population is also small they most likely know each other, lalo na if they are transferring jobs from one company to another. Hindi lang sila maingat na nagleleak yung information ng bawat company once puro kwentuhan and gossip tuwing may casual meet ups and etc... sila.
Kahit Aisin Aftermarket Thailand and etc... maraming times nadudulas so may mga information nag slislip sa mga tao.
Ibang iba ang quality ng Genuine parts na Advics from casa and Advics aftermarket, you can try to compare it by putting it side by side. Kahit sa disc brake pads palang mahahalata mo na ibang iba siya sa Genuine Car Maker parts na nabibili sa casa. Try buying disc brake pads for your Revo from Toyota car dealer and try buying the Advics Brake Star yellow box sa auto supply then compare them side by side. You'll be shocked the differences in the quality.
Magkaiba na ang division ng OEM and Aftermarket replacement ng Aisin-Advics, kasama nadin ang different procurement process nila. Pero siyempre they are still not as worst as those imbento or house brands that are being sold to the market.

July 7th, 2020 09:54 AM #252Hindi tayo nagkaintindihan, I did not say same quality as OEM, but as an aftermarket part. Of course it will not be the same quality as OEM since sa pricing pa lang malaki na ang gap. May point is QUALITY may be the same as Japan aftermarket brand but not as a no brand made in china.
Here is the sample box ng advics na binili ng kasama ko. For Advics brake pads may be same quality ng pambansang bendix, pass ako dyan, may akebono naman available for slightly higher price.

July 18th, 2020 07:42 PM #253Actually Aisin/Advics doesn't sell that Advics Brake Star in the Japan domestic aftermarket because it will not be able to pass strict Japanese standards, that is why the Advics Brake Star yellow box is only available sa 3rd world countries like Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Pakistan & etc... they don't offer that category sa ibang countries, yang Advics Brake Star yellow packaging matapang sa rotor discs yan, na test na yan ng ibang O.E. manufacturer yung web chart ng Advics Brake Star. Masmaayos yung Advics na blue box pag dating sa brake pads pero medyo pricey nga lang.

July 18th, 2020 07:44 PM #254Trust me on the Advics yellow box brake pads, same or masmalakas pa sa Bendix kumaen ng disc rotors yan. May isang kaparehas na characteristics yung Advics yellow box brake pads sa isang lower standard na Malaysian brake manufacturer which is both very similar sa web chart ng testing for fade, effectiveness at 40km/h, effectiveness at 120km/h, pad wear & last but not the least disc rotor wear.
Can you believe na ang Advics Brake Star yellow box for a Toyota Revo only cost P740 isang set para sa harap compared sa Bendix General CT P1,165 isang set. That goes to show how Advics stooped so low sa level ng brake pads market even able to price match a private/house label brand like LKC.
