Thanks.

February 7th, 2014 02:18 AM #2puedeng duktungan yan using metal tubing. or puedeng flexible rubber hose, just like what they use for the terminal hose that connects to the slave cylinders. personally, i prefer metal.
but the best remedy is to replace the entire length of metal tubing. if you are lucky, the store may have ready-made lengths that are already pre-bent and pre-cut..Last edited by dr. d; February 7th, 2014 at 02:20 AM.

February 7th, 2014 08:00 PM #3if you want a clean job, replace the copper tubing. you may need a tube bender, flaring tool.
Also you can get a surplus hydrovac with master cylinder. Hydrovac are normally mounted using
four bolt. You will need an adapter plate for this type of mounting. Vacuum can be obtained from the intake manifold nipple.

never, never not ever use copper tubing for brake lines. they are not designed to withstand the pressure of the brake hydraulics and are prone to premature corrosion (starts with patina) turning green, gets porous and weak. it might burst when you least expect it during panic braking. it is against the law to use other than the approved brake lines and hoses
