Hello Tsikot!

I'm planning to change my stock tires (215/65/16) to larger tires soon. First choice was to get 225/70/16's but to no avail.. Seems that the only brands that carry that size are BF Goodrich Php 5,683, Cooper Php 4,865 and Michelin Php7,500.
I called Ryco this afternoon but they don't have that size on BFG anymore. They only have it on Cooper and the Michelins are too expensive!

How do Cooper tires perform?

Next choice is to get Bridgestone Dueler H/T 215/70/16 or 235/60/16 but i can't decide on which one.

Will be using the car mainly for hauling, out of towns (beaches and Baguio), the crappy roads and floods of Valenzuela City. Mostly hi-way driving and a little off roading that's why i want the X trail's height a little higher.

Just like what this guy did with his --> http://www.nissanforums.com/x-trail/...e-x-trail.html

Main concern when i change tires are the handling and fuel consumption. Are these going to suffer badly?

And which one would look better on the stock rims, the 215's or 235's?

What are the pros and cons of changing to 215/70's and 235/60's?

Thanks in advance! Happy new year to everyone.

Cheers,

Gino Francisco
