if I were you, just bleed the old brake fluid and replace it with a better one. synthetic DOT 4 or DOT 5 brake fluid should be the best. also, change your Brake Lines, go w/ Stainless Steel Braided lines (Goodridge, Earls, etc..) then replace the pads and rotors. thats it!

also, in most cases.. (aside from worn out pads & rotors) pag feel niyo na mahina ang preno, make sure that theres no air on the brake system. and make sure that the brake lines are good and is not cracked. kasi pag may hangin sa brake system and pag worn out na ang lines, your brakes will feel really soft & weak.

yes, hihina talaga ang braking power ng kotse mo since that your 17's are putting more rotational mass to the driveline (hubs, brakes.. etc). bigger wheels.. means lesser stoping power. also, since that you have 17's.. you might wanna check your wheel bearings after a certain amount of miles. kasi mabilis din mag wear out ang wheel bearings, lalo na pag malaki ang rims.

well, di naman kailangan palitan ang Brake Rotors.. just upgrade to better Brake Pads and Stainless Steel Braided brake lines.

pero if I were you, just slap on those 15 inchers and call it a day! at tama ka, mas mura pa gulong! at mas magaan pa! hehehe..

SS Braided brake lines are much stiffer and does not expand as much as the stock brake lines (since the lines are under high fluid pressure, while applying the brakes) thats why the stock rubber brake lines crack.. specially when its worn out over time. therefore SS Braided brake lines improves Braking response and it gives the brake pedal a much firmer feel.

also, mas matibay ang SS braided brake lines.. so if you run over a debris (or any sharp objects) hindi madaling mapuputol ang SS brake lines.

Id rather have blown tires.. than having no brake response AT ALL!!

SS brake lines are between 8-9k for the set if 4 uninstalled pa and no brake fluid yet.
