The Achilles 2233 is a touring tire like the Formoza. The Achilles ATR Sport will be more comparable to the 595EVO.
Thank you very much, sir Egan101. That’s good to hear Formoza is quieter than 595EVO. Will change my tires to Formoza this August.

Why not stick with Achilles 2233? Indonesian brands offer good quality for an affordable price. If you can get the Achilles 2233 for 1k less than the Formoza, that's already 4k savings.

Will you use the car for track use?
The 595 evo wears very quickly compared to other budget tires like the 2233. Not only is it more expensive, but you'll also get just half the mileage out of it. So unless you'll use it for the track, get a tamer tire instead.

The 2233 is better than ATR Sport which was notorious for hydroplaning. It's the ATR Sport 2 that was improved significantly.

My first option is actually Achilles 2233. Unfortunately Achilles don’t have 215/40R18 size. They only have 225/40R18.

That's a small difference. If you ask me, I'd prefer a tire with a wider track width for more grip.

The price difference will be something more to consider.

No sir, will use it as my daily driver.

I used 595EVO 215/45R17 before on my altis then change it to 2233. Big difference on road noise. I like the 2233 unfortunately they don’t have 215/40R18.

There might be rubbing issue if i use 225/40R18 on my altis (9th gen). I heard a lot of rubbing issue at the Altis Club using 225/40R18.

I also had an Altis before and used 225/40R18 tires. I see no problem with that.

Hi guys! Anyone here have experience with these tires; Yokohama BluEarth AE50 & Dunlop LM704? I'm torn between these two, I'll be using them mostly for city driving & just looking for mid-priced tires. I'm particular with minimal road noise, comfortability and durability. I've read multiple reviews and narrowed down to these 2.
