Goodyear Forteras are now selling at a kick-ass low price. mazdamazda paid just 2,5k each for his.

They're good tires... decent on-road performance and good longevity.

Ermmm... it was mbt who bought the Forteras. Here's the thread where he posted it: http://www.bigbigcar.com/boards/Defa...?g=posts&t=217

    215/70 R15 nga lang yun.

Bought my Turanza ER-30s (235/60 R16) for about 5K+ each (c/o Mr. Ty of GrupoRav4).

AFAIK - the Fortera doesn't have a 235/60 R16 size, but they carry the 215/70 R16 (the alternative tires for the Rav4).

thanks mazdamazda. am having problems with bigbigcar though.

anyway, how's the turanza compared with the dueler h/t? any idea on how's the performance of the fortera?

    thanks!

The Dueler H/T 687 is just average... though it did impress me during my dirt road stint somewhere in Rizal.

The Turanza is a pure on-road tire (since it's a passenger car tire)... it's quieter and grips well. The only downside is its fast treadwear (140).

been reading the thread sa bigbigcar regarding tires, wala review on the fortera yet. kaso mahal na rin fortera, called some servitek.. nasa 3200 na pinaka mura. so halos parehas na ng price range ng yoko and bridgestone.

among the 3 brands (yokohama geolander h/t, bridgestone dueler h/t, and good year fortera), ano tingin nyo ok sa 3? same price na lang halos sila. looking for a quiet ride sana.

I'd rate the Fortera over the Dueler H/T, but I don't know about the Geolander, as I've never driven on it. The Dueler has an awesome tread life, though.

Sorry about the confusion, M2... knew you both bought... forgot it was mbt who got the Forteras.

I also think that the Fortera has a slight advantage over the Dueler H/T in terms of on-road performance.
