Tires are ridiculously hard to decompose into their constituent substances (rubber and oil, mainly, with some nylon and steel) because of the vulcanization process. Vulcanizing basically pressure-cooks tires into what they are.

Just saw the shredding machine which is exhibited and displayed. The name of the company is Genox. Here's the brochure of the tyre recycling system:

I strongly suggest that you do not cheap out on tires as they are literally the only things connecting your car to the road, and everything you do while driving the car is only as good as the tires you have installed.
    I agree with you 100%.

Pa-recommend naman ng 235/45/R17 o 225/R45/R17 na brand ng goma, mga papi. Badyet ay 4 to 5K per tire.

Have you guys used mastercraft tyres? I was planning on buying BF Goodrich but my supplier only has 3 pieces left. He offered me mastercraft HSX tour with a 5 year warranty.

I don't know if they have it in the size you want but I recently bought Dunlop LM703s for 5,200 each. The size I got is 215/55-17.

anybody here have tried using federal's comfort tires, yung formoza FD2? The stock Goodyear GT3s on my three-year old City GM have really poor quality. Two of the 5 tires have developed problems (oblong, bukol/thread sep candidate) since the car was acquired.
