Had my 5k PMS last June 2018. Now I'm getting texts from Subaru Greenhills that I'm due for a service again. When I clarified it, they texted me two different messages -- one is saying to disregard it while the other is saying they have a "service clinic" every 3 months.

Is this normal for a Subaru?

Local Subaru dealers follow a 6-month or 10k KM (which ever comes first) PMS cycle. They only follow mileage for CVTF change (40k KM).

Better clarify sa service adviser kung ano ba talaga yung acceptable. Apart from that, they follow a fixed schedule... I've gotten texts and calls from the service appointment crew from different dealerships [non subaru] WHILE my car was with them...

Hi. Anyone have estimate of how much CVT fluid change is for 2013 2.0 Forester non-turbo? Looking to have it done ouside casa but the CVT fluid seems a bit expensive when outside shop quoted me.

Not really 'goyo', they just follow a fixed interval from when you last had your service.

For people who know they can stretch the interval, normally may konteng lee way naman. For the people who don't know any better or don't know a thing about cars, ok na rin yung short interval.

Happened to me few times. Should be 6 months or 10k, whichever comes first.

It’s around 10k with a drain & refill method plus gear oil change at Fusion R. That’s fluids and labor.

Only two models will be released locally for the new Forester - base and Eyesight models.
