From the youtube review vids I've seen, they say the responsiveness of the transmission is much better now with the new forester. It's the same CVT used in the 2018 Outback.

What HUs do you guys recommend? Would love to keep the steering wheel remote functionalities and back up camera on the HU.

    Thanks

Wow 100k. Makes me think to wait for the end of the warranty. Hehe.

I just hate the stock HU when its not displaying the correct song tittle. And sometimes delayed response. Other than that its still okay.

    Here’s another question.
Have anyone tried installing obd speed sensing locks?

I saw before a post regarding this, not sure if it was here or on the fb group.

    Thanks.

It will burn less fuel than 2.5L...thats a given. But it will still be underpowered on highway runs.

Anyways, dami naman 2.0L forester out there... I think power will be similar.

I have a 2L NA engine and doing near peak power is good.

Majority of filipino drivers havent experience peak power from their vehicles, but theyre so eager to talk about "underpowered" engines...

Underpowered? I dont miss the that hissing sound..youll get tired of it after awhile when the novelty has passed....my turbo hasnt spooled for awhile..even on hiway runs...what for? These are the times that i miss my old hatch...feels fast even though its not..

That's why these people should just buy diesels if they're unwilling to rev their gas-fed cars to the redline.

It's really my pet peeve when people expect naturally aspirated gas fed cars to be as responsive in low revs as diesel cars.

Underpowered how? My 2.0L gas fed SUV has sufficient power every time I bring it out on the highway.

Baka naman hanggang 3000 rpm niyo lang dinadrive kotse niyo kaya "underpowered"?
