    Ah! Sakto need to have mine replaced.

    But after watching this video, i'd rather have it replaced by a pro. Lol

    I have it for 7 years na and napapangisi pa rin ako tuwing binibirit ko yung makina. Hehe

    And true, servicing them flat 4s is a pain. Just had my valve cover replaced. Lahat x2 mga gasket kasi opposite sides. Lol

    Sakto mag 8 years next feb. So just about right yung mileage.

    Anyway, no plan of selling it pa naman. Maybe in 5 years time, maybe never. Lol

    This car is old school kasi in the sense na "IN YOUR FACE" yung acceleration. Unlike the turbo cars of late, so boring.

    Just replace the same parts sa video i bet that subi will last another decakada. that oldschool 4at is good.

    meron pala subi specialists. heard of that "fusion r" place when the brz exploded...

    Just follow the usual oil change interval of 6 mos. Or 5,000km whichever comes first.

    Gaskets, gaskets, gaskets...

    Oh, don't forget to have the MAF sensors checked. Engine was misfiring from running too rich.

    Anyway, back to topic.

    The timing belt replacement, if done correctly will take about a day. If the allen bolts are stuck, then probably 2 to 3 days. Kaya mas convenient magpa service sa shop. And also re timing the valves is a pain din. And also the torque on the screws should be up to spec. Apply too much and you risk damaging the valves.

    Almost perfect!

    As part of the MAW (might-as-well) parts, he needed to replace the front crank seal and the four camshaft seals. Just how I have been doing it with a special camshaft pulley holding tool. Without this SST it is impossible to remove the very friggin' tight camshaft pulley bolt without causing damage to the pulley.
