Guys, merong na naman bago sa Subaru na recently appeared...

    Here:

    This is the Subaru Lucra.

And this is the new Pleo.

Not sure how they got here, but I'm sure these are the Subarus we wish to have...

The Pleo looks like it's based from the JDM-spec Suzuki Alto/Celerio.
I like the Lucra Custom, but the R1 looks better.

Subaru's K-cars usually don't come with 4WD. The Pleo, for instance, has always been primarily FF as far as I can remember.

Not sure if they have boxer engines either - a lot of K-cars have 3 cylinders, and good luck packaging the boxer layout in the dimensional envelope of a K-car.

Also worth noting is that not many Japanese carmakers actually make their own K-cars. Some brands just badge-engineer other carmakers' offerings. Suzuki, Honda, Mitsubishi and Daihatsu (Toyota) are definite K-car builders, but I'm not so sure about everybody else.

Yup mukhang Japan domestic models nga mga ito.

I somewhat like k-cars. Sana may mga "sports" model pa sila ngayon (e.g. Honda Beat, Suzuki Cappuccino, Mazda/Autozam AZ-1). Sana din export din sila.
