    Is it possible to increase the ground clearance on a 2014 Subaru Forester to give it a better off-road handling?

    To what purpose? If you are planning to go far off-road, buy an SUV that's really meant to go far off-road, one with good articulation, a rated wading depth and a low-range transfer case.

    On stock suspension, you can start by increasing your tyre's aspect ratio. Try to have a test fit first for scrubbing issues.

    You can also try fitting coil overs.
