BTT: at least they upgraded the engine of the BRZ. The previous BRZ was a really good handling car, even better than its twin (Toyota GR86) due to its stiffer suspension. However, it was no quicker or faster than the similar-priced WRX.

Many wanted a turbocharged BRZ but Subaru kept it with an NA engine. There is a thrill in keeping the revs high with an NA engine.

    Quick summary:

BRZ suffers from oil pressure drop during high-G right turns

    They fixed it by:
Using a baffle and overfilling by 0.5li
Using 40W oil instead of the recommended 20W or 30W (+6 PSI)
    Adding an Accusump accumulator

Mods that didn't help with oil pressure, but were necessary for track:
Oil cooler (pressure drop caused by cooler slightly reduced by removing heat exchanger)

"never use gasketmaker or any similar product, on the carburator!"
    heh heh.

It stores extra oil and keeps it near the top of the engine. IIRC driven by oil line off the pump, just like a turbo.
When it detects a drop in oil pressure it starts to release the stored oil to keep the engine happy.

That makes it sound very high tech haha

The analogy I had in mind was a lot more primitive:
