Yes agree, the freon most likely has leaked out.

I had a similar issue with my 2012 Forester. There was a small hole in the evaporator.

Hoping it's not the evaporator. Kawawang dashboard.

Will have it checked at Den-Aire near where Subaru BGC used to be. If it's the evaporator then I'll start looking elsewhere.

For newer cars it's usually a dashboard out job to replace an evaporator.

nang hihina ako pag nakakakita ng ganyan eh.. haha.. alam ko na merong hindi maibabalik ng maayos dyan.. yung biglang may sobrang screw ka after mo ibalik lahat.. haha

btw.. kung pumuputok ang fuse ng AC, eh most probably pabigay na din ang magnetic clutch nyan..

I noticed na medyo hilaw ang lamig the past few days pero inisip ko baka mainit lang talaga panahon. Yesterday while I was driving it to our offsite parking area biglang puro hangin na lang walang lamig. Didn't hear the compressor turn on so most likely out of freon due to a leak. check mo muna sir ang lines, may makikita ka naman na oil residue dyan if nag leak sa fittings.. usually kung leak lang sa fittings, nahihilaw lang ang lamig.. pero kung totally nag escape na ang refrigerant, most likely may butas yan sa condenser or evaporator which will require the necessary dashboard removal.. or pwede din yung compressor ang bumigay at nag leak ng refrigerant

bring it to cool mate makati.. expert na sa subaru yan dami nila ginagawa dun mga subaru AC..

minsan nga nag pagawa ako dun, may subaru xv akala ko sira aircon, gusto lang mag pa linis ng AC nya kasi daw 20k kms na natakbo.. papabaklas dashboard kahit wala naman sira AC nya

Yeah I'm hoping lines or pressure switch lang. Di naman nag-amoy maasim sa loob and over several days ang paghina ng lamig.

Checkup lang ako bukas. If evap talaga then I'll bring it to Coolmate or EEB.

Aircon finally fixed! Had to wait 2 weeks for the evaporator to arrive before I brought it to the shop. Had it done at EEB for a bit more than half of what Denso quoted me.

Mahina talaga AC ng Subaru. There were two N-plate Foresters there with me with evaporator and compressor issues.
