Android Auto is not automatically installed in PH phones. It is also not available in the Play Store for our region. You have to download and install it from APKMirror.

Make sure Carplay is activated on the iPhone. It should be under Siri. Data should be on.

Use the original data cables when connecting to the car.

Try searching on Youtube for steps on how to set up everything for AA and Carplay. Your Android should not be running AA when you plug it in. It will be invoked when the HU detects it. Carplay is more lenient as it lets you use the phone even when it's connected.

Oh and use the USB port under the HU in front of the shifter. The ones in the center console are just for charging ;)

Just fabric. You can ask for upgrade to leather.

Only fabric seats for the base model XV, same with the Forester. You can buy leather seat covers outside.

mine is not leather cover. it’s oem. similar to premium model.

Leather is not practical in our climate ... Unless you like having hot buns ... It's also a natural sterilization for men ...

Yep. Easily remedied by the aftermarket. That's what we did the day after we got the unit.
