Are you referring to Eyesight's adaptive cruise control? Does it work well with snail pace traffic flow (less than 20kph)?

    Yep

I set it to ECO so it's not too aggressive in keeping pace, then I tap the throttle from time to time if I lag from my lead vehicle too much. Took me a while to learn to trust it and not press the brake. If if the lead vehicle stops, you stop behind him less than 1 car length so no one takes your lane. Once the lead vehicle starts again, I just push-up the right toggle-switch on my steering wheel.

A big plus, you get to scan the traffic ahead, to the side and back a lot more. Once you get the hang of it, you can also drive normally with it just ready -- then tap the switch when needed, or not at all if you feel you need to "defend your lane". Or, you can just let the aggressive drivers be and let them take the lane, if you do it will happen about 2x an hour so not that bad. In a normal automatic vehicle, when you release the throttle you slow down -- with eyesight release the throttle and tap the switch, you speed-match to the vehicle in front of you.

It's not really autopilot and you can't really rely on it 100%, it just takes the tension of having to monitor and speed-match with the vehicle in front all the time. If it's all me, I never let anyone take my lane, I will fight you for it and risk my side mirrors. With this tech, I learned to give LOL. In a 1 hour stretch of EDSA driving, you get to relax about 45 mins in total.

Hi folks. Need some advise. Planning to buy the TOTL XV. My SA's quote is 1,589.800 inclusive of TPL and an 80K discount. Is this a good deal already? Also I'm a bit confused, According to my SA the TOTL 2.0i S CVT with Eyesight already has rear camera and rear sensor. Checking the other threads someone said that there's no rear camera nor rear sensor. Which is which.

The pre-Eyesight TOTL already had a camera with active guide lines so it would be strange if the Eyesight units don't have one. Go to the casa and check an actual Eyesight unit just to be sure.

Argh, I knew Eyesight would be useful even with traffic in our country. I still regret that I bouhght the TOTL XV last November when there was still no announcement that there will be an Eyesight version that will be released this year. Life sucks Lol. Just venting out.

Trick is to ask for a quote from another SA from another casa then play them against each other. They'll most probably budge only on the freebies though since the XV is a popular item. Ask for more umbrellas. The one we got has Maggie and Homer on it

Check other brands. What other vehicle can you buy with such an amount?

That’s already pre TRAIN price. You won’t get a much lower price from any Subaru dealer.

You mean, like crv,cx5 and the like?
Which has more premium feel of the 3 (xv,crv and cx5)?
For the space we know its the crv... specs and features would also be a factor in choosing in addition to the interior on which those models are known to be best...
