XV has less body roll and feels like less body flex.
Since the xv seems lower or ride lower than its rivals.

The XV may look like it sits low but its listed ground clearance is about the same as the Forester at more than 8 inches. That's even better than a CRV.

Less body roll siguro dahil mababa ang center of gravity (boxer engine)

Yes, i'm not referring though to its ground clearance when i mentioned about its height but rather the fact that the lower height is an advantage in driving vs. its rivals. It also means lower center of gravity for it, which could explain the lower chances of body roll, etc.

    Exactly, hehe..
Which among the XV's rivals has a taller ride height? They (Ecosport, HRV, CX3, Trax, Vitara) all seem small and low compared to the XV. The XV is not classified under the CUV class of the Forester, CRV, CX5, etc.

No need to be defensive. The guy above mentioned earlier that he compared it to a tucson and a cx5 then end up with the xv. Maybe those are not the rivals of the xv, but somehow people end up comparing it to them because they still have some similarities, after all.

I like to think of the XV as somewhere between the subcompact CUVs (Ecosport, etc) and compact CUVs (Forester, etc) if there is such a thing.

BTW, I'm trying to post a link where selected Subaru models, including the XV, are on pre-TRAIN prices within this month but it's not showing up. Might help those who are planning to buy one.

Not being defensive here. I am just saying that despite the XV near the price and capabilities of some CUVs, it is still under a smaller class of vehicles.

The primary reason that the XV is bigger than its rivals is due to the fact that its platform is based off a compact (Impreza) and not a subcompact.

Agree with you sir. The XV is still categorized as a subcompact CUV but is bigger than its rivals due to it being based on the Impreza, though it is smaller than the Forester. That was the point I was trying to get at.

Was trying to post that link you gave but I guess I don't have the sufficient membership rights yet.
