"if hatchback" -- might I ask why you started with that? Is the shape particular of importance to you? because I agree if budget is not an issue, then go for the WRX, but it only comes as a sedan.

Unfortunately, only the Mazda3 is available locally as a hatchback among the three. The base model Impreza and Civic RS are available only as a sedan locally.

Among the compact cars sold locally, only the Mazda3 and Focus are available in hatchback form. There is a hatchback version of a Civic available locally but it costs 3M, the Civic Type R.

as for me i like HB more than sedan and of course the WRX is way out of the budget of the three
