Doc,
like what sir av8or5 said, kayang kaya i-DIY ito... lakasan lang ng loob... one mistake sorry..... para ka lang nag ooOdontec niyan.... hehehe steady hands for the incision.
way back when i still have my Sentra GTS ako lang din ang nag kabit ng map light nun... what i did was i traced the shape of the map light into a cardboard, from there i cut the traced lines from the cardboard and test fit the map light. after im satisfied with the fit, i then used the cardboard as my template. after tracing it to my head board, patigasan nalang ng dibdib and pray that you dont over cut it. dahil kung masydo mapalaki hehehe laglag ang maplight...
with regards sa wiring tap mo lang yung positive sa cabin light and ground it sa body. thats it...
hanap ka nalang ng maplight...
last time i asked sa casa its 4K na daw....
Maybe there's a way na pwede naka-on pa rin ang lows when switching on the highs. Para maganda ang foreground lighting when turning on the highs tapos pwede i-aim further down the road ang highs (para sa highspeed night driving). Para din hindi madaling masira ang HID sa lows sakaling magpalit to HID (para maiwasan ang palaging on/off ng HID when switching on the highs). 35-watt 4,300kelvin HID sa lows tapos Osram Night Breaker sa highs at fogs.
im thinking of installing HIDs din mga sirs pero kailangan kasi mag butas sa cover cap ng bulb. takot ako kasi prone pa naman to sa moisture. eto pa, natural na daw mag moist as explained sa 2 page manual. hehe..
may bulb naman na philips na parang 4300 kelvin HID effect diba? would that be any good for the projectors? wouldnt that effect the low quality glass cover of the headlight in the long run thus leading to aquarium effect?
appreciate your opinions mga bosbs.
What I did sa crosswind dati is:
Invert (pointing outside) the nozzle part of the headlight bulb rubber cap, run the HID bulb wires through the nozzle, secure the HID bulb into the headlight housing with the headlight bulb clips, re-install the headlight bulb rubber cap, then put 1 strip Bostic Blu Tac (meron din black nito) on the nozzle and mold it to a tight fit on the tip of the nozzle (for a water/engine heat proof install). Kahit ilang engine wash pa, di talaga mag-moist ang loob ng headlight assembly. Bostic Blu Tac is available at Handyman and Ace Hardware.
I think Philips Vision series is whiter then Xtreme Power but at the expense of usable light.

hahahaha! peace bro!!
sorry OT...![]()
