Mga Strada Masters,

Just had my rims change 16 x 8 with 245/70/16 tires.
Ask ko lang meron bang effect ito sa performance, warranties, other concerns, etc. sa Strada natin?
I have 2010 GLX with no flender flares.
Lumalabas nga yung gilid ng wheel sa body. Pero ok lang sa akin. Ayaw ko kasi palagyan ng flare para maiba naman ang look niya.
Have read the previous thread about offset but hindi ko masyado maintindihan. He.he.he.
Main concern ko lang kun may bad effect ba ito sa Strada ko ang modification ko nito???
Sana wala naman... So far ok naman ang driving ko... napansin ko na maganda yung stability niya.
Anyway i'll wait for your expert opinion of these.

Bro,to avoid water splashes sa body,install flares. Protection din sa body paint mo yan. Lalo na kung muddy ang nadaanan mo.
Ok din ang 245 sa stock glx rims. I think eto na limit na width for this.
If somobra na,donut na tingnan. I suggest buying wider rims din to get that wider effect sa tires mo.
The wider the tires,the better the traction and stability.

Sir, naka-16x8 na sya. Similar kay sir DJ ata. Di naman siguro malaki weight difference nyan sa stock rims. Hataw pa rin yan. Kayang kaya yan. Some BOSBS have been sporting 265/75R16 mud terrains on 16x8s and wala naman problems sa suspension. I hope...
BTW, meron na ba dito sa atin nagpalit na ng aftermarket coil springs/leaf springs? Will this correct the slight uneven stance?

sakto lang yang 245 mo sir... pag na upod palit ka nalang ng 265 or 255/75 para medyo mas malaki tignan (hindi mas malapad) pero either way since malapad na rin yung mags mo di narin halata. same tayo ng spec ng mags. 16x8 -2 nga lang yung offset nung sakin. sporting with 245/70 tires too.... nung naka kabit siya sa stock na mags ng glx hehehe super payat. pero nung nalipat na sa malapad na mags oks na oks narin.

yun nga lang since naka labas siya sa body mo expect mo talaga yung water splashes.. hehehehe specially sa door handles.. ooohhhhhh sooo dirty!!!!! hehehehe pag baba mo sa truck mo di mo alam kung matutuwa ka o hindi. ganda kasi tignan nung splashes ng putik sa gilid kaso ang dumi nga lang kaya ako hati lagi ngiti ko sa mukha eh. one side naka smile one side malungkot kasi hugas nanaman....

Sir maski may fender flares kung luwa talaga di rin uubra. yung sakin kasi labas pa rin dahil sa offset ng mags. kaya pag nadadaan ako sa medyo basang kalsada eh yung gilid lang ng strada ang madumi. yung hood, roof, and trunk door ang linis pa. hehehehe... solution ko lang dun pag uwi hugas agad or first thing in the morning before i go to my office carwash...

sir im pretty sure marami rami narin ang nakapag palit ng mga springs and suspensions nila dito. though im not quite sure about sa leaf spring...

The feeling is mutual, sir. Hehe. Matutuwa kase angas tingan with all the mud sa sides pero malungkot kase washing na naman. Malupit kung may kasamang dog sh_t sa front door handle. Mapa-"holy sh_t" ka talaga.

oo nga pala doc, naka 16x8 na pala sya. hehe.. my mistake . hindi ko nakita, liit kasi ng screen ng ipad. hehe... yabang, di naman sa akin. pwedeng pwede pala yan kahit 265. hehe.

Mga Strada Masters,

Salamat sa mga inputs niyo... Now i'm thinking to get the fender flare.
One more thing saan kaya makapa install niyan na malapit lang. Dito me kasi sa Paranaque.
Kasi nalayuan na ako sa Banawe. But if ever wala talaga malapit dito.
Any suggestion what shop to get the fender flare and how much budget i need.

Also i have one thing na notice sa may bandang right passenger inside ng dashboard may rattling sound medyo mahina lang naman kaso nakakairitang pakinggan.
Pina check ko na sa casa kaso meron pa rin... Anyone that share same experience? Ano kaya magandang gawin to get rid of it?

Sir for the fender flare, try mo Miggyboy caloocan they offer it around 7500.00 canvass ko last june thought, sa Goldrich banawe(left side facing welcome) last is 7300.00 store is just across goldrich(di ko recall ung name) 7500.00 din...or sa Carryboy (right side facing welcome). Di ko lang sure other stores po where TSCP members get discount maybe some of our co-TSCP member can suggest. Hope this helps.

Had a bad experience diyan sa goldrich. Bad trip customer service nila... diyan ko kinuha fender flares ko eh. daig ko pa nag pa change oil sa kasa sa tagal!!! kinain niya halos kalahati ng araw ko!!!!

sa minerva ka nalang mas cheaper pa. bought mine last august sa goldrich *7.5K sa minerva which is katabi lang nila 7K bigay sakin.

biyahihin mo nalang sir. or puwde din siguro sa carryboy sa alabang baka meron sila. mas mahal lang siguro ng konti.
