Oil color after 447 kms (oil change at 20,200 kms; oil check at 20,647 kms):

(after about 200 kms of really rough trail with 29 gross boxes of medicine bottles; the rest under pure city driving with moderate traffic)

Weapons of choice:

(Korean oil; only P210/liter; semi-synthetic; change every 5,000 kms; been using since 10,000 km-pms)

Fake or not, it seems to do its job well. After 5,000 kms, will try to order Baldwin oil filter from manila and compare oil color after 450-500 kms. Took the risk of using my ride as a genie pig.

Hi mga sir, A future strada owner here

I have a dilemma on what variant to get between GL or GLX . Actually I am eyeing on the GLX but after days of back-reading here and there... i think its more practical for me to get the GL since i want to mod it right away (have it lifted,upgrade wheels and tires and install those awesome aftermarket bumpers)
*main purpose nga pala nung truck is to haul my dirtbikes to and from the racetrack

here are the differences of the GLX from the GL listed by the SA
1.dual airbag
2.alloy mags
3. stepboard
4.audio remote on steering wheel
5.fog lamps
6.bed liner
7.security alarm and keyless entry

most of it naman pala can be installed later on..

i have these questions though
1. bedliner and fender flares - how much aabutin and saan nagpapakabit nito?
2. meron pa po bang ibang differences between the GL / GLX

what do you think mga idol? practical ba for me getting a GL or stick to the GLX variant?

The dual airbags are worth the additional cost already. Safety is important. You cannot have these installed as an aftermarket add on.

I'd considered your advice sir and got the GLX . will be picking it up tomorrow.

Now my question is.. do upgrading of the wheel set and tires voids the warranty? My SA says I just need to have it noted by their service dept. is that it?
