    Good day mga sir. Pasensya po kung very noob question. Masisira po ba ang clutch sa ganitong scenario, running * 60kph then slow down cause of traffic apak clutch then change to neutral then half brake half brake then brake pero naka apak pa rin sa clutch. Masisira po ba ang clutch kung naka hinto and neutral tapos naka apak ka na sa clutch pero di naman umaapak sa gas?

    Pero matanong ko lang bro, bakit kelangan mo pang tapakan yung clutch e mas marerelax ka nga pag binitawan mo muna while on Neutral...

    IMHO, hinde masisira ang clutch... But like Kimo said, once nag-neutral ka na, no reason na para apakan ang clutch (moving or not moving) until the time na mag engage ka na ulit ng gear...

    +1 sa sinabi ni Kimospeed and Ezrydre

    yung iba nga nagfefreeewheeling pa (gawain ko dati sa sedan) wherein umaandar pa dinidisengage na yung gear, bitaw clutch, and let momentum do the rest.

    i think yung iba umaapak sa clutch kapag tinitimpla with gas when nabibitin sa steep incline, but this is done ng naka gear of course.

    Thank you for that info mga sirs. Medyo di ko rin kasi ma-explain ng maayos sa tatay at tito ko kasi pare pareho lang kaming new drivers. They insist na masisira daw clutch if nakababad daw in neutral. Pero sabi ko na hindi siya masisira kasi nakahinto naman. Medyo nasasanay lang po kasi ako na pag slow down, brake brake full brake then clutch neutral then naiiwan ung paa ko sa clutch hehe.

    Pag naka fully press ang clutch naka disengage ang engine sa transmission (free wheeling) pag naka neutral naman naka disengage ang transmission sa differential/gulong so free wheeling uli so pag pinag sabay mo clutch and neutral naka disengage ang makina sa transmission likewise yung transmission sa differential/gulong so wala masisira. Yung masama yung nag re rest paa mo sa clutch kahit naka gear ka na (clutch driver) mag-iinit ang clutch then eventually mapupudpod
