i'm into photography too but i use DSLR's. right now I have a Canon EOS 300D (aka Kiss / Digital Rebel) and a Canon EOS 20D. In the Phil., Canon has better support than Nikon (especially with regards to DSLR's). I'm not too sure about normal SLR's though.
