i don't know.
vit C + zinc have been in the market even before covid, kasi.
literature is full of so-called celebrity endorsements and undocumented or un-substantiated folk medicine...

This is what I bought for my mom yun early weeks ng lockdown. Nagkaubusan kasi ng Immunpro (Vitamin C + Zinc) kasi sa mga leading drugstores.

When I was given the chance to watch over my sick father in law in the States, the hospital there would include a Vitamin D3 supplement daily. If I remember it correctly, around 4,000 iu.

My uncle who suffered from cancer, was taking Vitamin D3 supplements as prescribed by his Oncologist here locally. I think the Vitamin D3 acts as an “immunomodulator”. Though it’s never a cure for any disease, but if you are deficient with it, your immune system may not work efficiently.
