December 15th, 2008 08:21 PM #1According to a recent medical research paper, Viagra might give athletes a performance boost.
Do you consider this doping? Should this be illegal? How can they tell the difference between legit use and doping?

depende ang classification neto kung doping eh. normally, doping is for long-term, pero kung viagra lang, mukhang panandalian lang ang effect.
and besides, imagine someone running a sprint with a raging boner in front of him. or swimming a 100 meter backstroke with something like a shark-fin protroding in front of him.
i don't know, i guess it would be best for the governing bodies to classify this.

medyo OT: AFAIK, di naman ume-effect ang viagra sa taong may normal erection...
hence, di rin ito eeffect sa "normal" patient, pwera na lang kung may dysfunction yung gagamit...

This also means that athletes competing in track and field (specifically running) events (100M, 200M, 400M et al) will have a few inches of advantage at the start of the race.... :hysterical:
