tolentino is red shirting this year and reportedly working hard on her physical therapy (she had an acl tear back in canada) so i hear she's got the green light to join the team soon anew

but i'm actually more excited to see the cute fil/japanese risa sato make her debut for the blue and white. i saw her play during last year's shakey's v-league and she is intimidating up front w/ her size and boundless energy

w/ regards to ana gopico, i hope her recovery goes well this time around since it's the 2nd successive time she suffered that hideous acl tear prior to this season.

Kung mabasa mo mga news akala mo siya pa rin ang kapitana ng DLSU.

But kudos to the DLSU team now. Ang ganda ng smiles nila sa awarding ceremonies. It should be this way. Being 1st runner up is an achievement pa rin.

Ateneo is only losing Lazaro and Patnongon next year, I believe. The rest have two to three more years. The team is intact.

A champion team with a bright future will continue to attract blue chip rookies. And, with the system of Coach Tai where everyone should know all the skills, it will not be difficult to replace Lazaro. Baka si Ella de Jesus i-convert to libero yan. Or, they play without a libero like what they have already done when Lazaro was injured.

Either way, the future looks bright for the Lady Eagles.

And for the Blue Spikers too!
