btw, the men's volleyball team of ateneo edged the defending champs (nu bulldogs) in a 5 setter thriller

Watched live and it was worth it with the 5 set thriller. Di puno yung arena unlike pag final 4 matches, but 18,000 is a lot na rin.

Actually kaya umabot ng 5 sets kasi puro errors from both sides, but ultimately Ateneo was able to hold on and play consistently in the 5th set, while La Salle crumbled (from 8-8 in the 5th, lumayo na hanggang mag 15-9).

In the final set, Morado was able to connect consistently with Valdez and the quickers, while La Salle had so much difficulty receiving Valdez' serves, with Demecillo being targeted (but De Jesus couldn't take her out because she was the only one helping out Galang as open hitter).

Excited for their second round match on Feb 22!

the 4th set adjustment of coach tai was the key to yesterday's lady eagles victory. dlsu never regained their bearings after that tweaking in their rotation. he's really changing the way volleyball is played here
