Maybe Ronnie Magsanoc will be considered in the future? Norman Black was also an assistant coach before taking the helm years ago if i'm not mistaken.
    Hehehe! Money matters.

Maybe Ronnie's being given some time to get into the program and build it up alongside Bo, para when he takes over, he hits the ground running.

i guess i'm one of the few who thinks perasol should stay on as head coach of the blue eagles even for just one more year. as far as i'm concerned, with a shallow talent pool at his disposal, and a doughnut team to boot, it's a testament to his skill as a mentor, on and especially off the court, that the boys were even able to finish the elims in the final 4.

sure the final four exposed the weakness of his system, but i'm thinking he just had to bite the bullet and let his main man decide the outcome of the season. besides, coach norman black did the same thing w/ jc intal years ago in his finals debut and he lost painfully to a fighting ust squad. in fact, black only got to taste the apex of his collegiate coaching career technically on his third year already, w/ a team mostly composed of the recruits he pursued - not players he inherited from the previous coach

it's almost the same thing for perasol. on his third year, the so-called perasol recruits will be playing for a system he shaped and envisioned. so what's to see next season is how those new pieces will fit his team structure and how deep ateneo will fare in the age of mighty narra-like imports - that is if bo is still at the helm of the Hail Mary squad in season 78

As for DLSU, what some tell me is they want a 6-peat. Kelangan daw talunin ang Ateneo record.
Sayang, Ravena could have opted for a teardrop for the tie. Kaso he took the risk of drawing a foul-counted+1 to have a chance to finish the game. Kaso malaki yung bantay eh. No foul called pa.

EDIT: Parang si Sendoh saka si Maki lang dati sa Slam Dunk.

You have a point there. Hopefully next season we will also see a better arvin tolentino.

I think one game lang ang laban for third. My money goes to NU. On paper, player talent almost equal. Difference is the coach. Coach E is probably the best coach in the UAAP now.

Ito ang Ateneo in Season 78, from the mouth of Newsome:

"“We got some pretty key pieces coming in next year. You got [Jerie] Pingoy… a couple of our imports are finally gonna be able to play. This is going to be the first time in a while that Ateneo’s got imports.”

“There’s definitely a lot of talent. Who else? Hubert Cani. Just a lot of guys. There’s a lot of our Team B. If you keep track of our Team B there’s a lot of people there. Ateneo definitely has a bright future.” (Ateneo's Chris Newsome went down swinging)

    GO ATENEO! OBF!
