    pang-gulo talaga 'to si montinola.

rule # 4 pa lang na quoted sa letter nila wala na kaagad violation kasi iyong correction ng 2 point shot to a 3 pointer hindi pa naman tapos iyong 4th quarter.

I agree here. The reaction of UP leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Where's the sportmanship, grace and class in that? Congrats to the winners (NU, UP and UST) I'm happy the most for the UST win runner-up finish.

As for FEU... sorry but they lost it. One of my basic takes when it comes to basketball is that a team who muffs their free throws don't deserve the win (and in most cases lose). This has been evident in a the Ateneo losses this season where they shot badly from the charity line and went on to lose the game by a margin attributable to the muffed free throws.

Yeah, I agree. I only got to watch parts of the replay of the CDC -- was actually ticked off by Boom and Jessie for some reason -- and the part I actually got was when they declared UP one of the winners (turns out it was 2nd place pala). Sablay yung reaction nila. Very unsportsmanlike. You can show disappointment, but iba yung sa kanila. Tsk tsk!

Also did not get to watch the ADMU-FEU game. Kahit yung DLSU-NU di rin, hehe! Until I realized it was already 8 past and I reviewed my Twitter feed. The title of the article was something like "ADMU's come back" or something. I thought it was referring to ADMU's resurgence this year (coming back from last year's showing). Di pala, literally, they came back due to an FEU collapse.

Agree with vinj, teams who can't shoot free throws don't deserve the win. Shooting freebies should be one of the basic skills teams practice. I wonder, though, how Andy Jao will decide on this. But, how is a commissioner supposed to decide on this? Replay? Default?

UAAP upholds the Ateneo win over FEU: Jao denies FEU, upholds Ateneo's victory | ABS-CBN News

The referee signalled a three but the scorer recorded a two.

    Tama naman na kinorek yan.

So now there's a playoff for 4th place as well.

Ateneo, being the first seed, will have to wait it out and the danger there is the team can get rusty and complacent.

I was watching the game from the car while lined up for parking at the mall. Nung pahabol, naghanap ako ng parking line na mahaba pila.

Nice to see that there are no zero win teams this season.
