March 6th, 2018 12:30 PM #2362it depends doc on your end goal..if you want to be bigger(not fatter) eat clean..add around 500 calories to your bmr then observe, if you are getting heavier without adding fat %, add 100 more..then another one..until you reached a point where your gaining unwanted weight ( fat )...problem is everytime weight changes, pati caloric needs nagbabago..iba ang caloric needs ng 180lb, 200lb at 230lb na individual..

March 10th, 2018 01:32 PM #2369climbing mt batulao next month, day hike only... my 2nd climb..next sana is mount pulag, im at my lowest weight as of now since college*189..my target weight is 185lb for hiking..i hope to bulk up on june..pero i like this weight, parang ang gaan sa stairs, joint pains all gone.. the only downside is most of the major lifts went down...deadlifts form 405lb - 330lb...squats from 270s went down to 225lbs...

If you can climb batulao. You will find that pulag (ambangeg trail) easier. Pero kung gusto mo medyo workout. Go to makiling traverse.
I've seen guys who are chubby and conquer the mountains. I think it is not about the weight but it is more of endurance and proper breathing technique.
