guys, may tanong ako. what's the normal dietery intake for a protein diet? like ilang pcs of chicken/fish or servings? gusto ko sana tignan if it can be acheived without supplements.
di ba inorder for your cardio to be effective, merong heart rate na dapat ma-achieve/maintained during your workout inorder to maximise your workout?

bad trip kasi mga 2 mos before summer outing, nag-cut down and gym almost everyday nako para magka-cuts. pero yung mga tipong 2 weeks to go, napasarap ang kain ko and unfortunately, wasn't able to go to the gym. hahahaha ang taba ko pagdating ng outing. tipong bloated.
ngayon na lang uli ako nakakabawi.

Hirap ng walang sups, hehe, depende I guess kung gano ka kalaki to begin with... When I was still doing it seriously last year, shoving 170grams of low-fat protein sources without sups was really, really, really costly, inconvenient, and hard to digest hehe.
You'll crave for the ease of just gulping a scoop of whey hehe.

there's a big difference sa muscle na lumaki dahil sa ginagawa mu (mga kargador) and sa muscle na lumaki dahil sa gusto mu (gym people), parang spoiled ka kasi sa gym... aircon, tv, may health counter pa, anyway sculpted muscles are useless if not incorporated with any skill, i tried hitting the gym a couple of years back kaso di rin aku nagtagal.. dont get me wrong, weightlifting is a very good cross training for specific muscle strenghtening but we also have to work out fast twitch muscles kasi babagal ka sa weights

i know naman that weightlifting has its advantages, like for example pacquiao who trains for a boxing match or an office person who seats all day long in his cubicle.
what I really dont understand is why some people undergo such a rigorous training just to show it off. I'll give an example, in our gym there are bodybuilder gym personnel. one time, a girl on a treadmill dropped her ring on the floor. hindi kagad nahanap so possibly nasa ilalim ng isa sa mga treadmills. the girl asked for help from the bulky gym personnel. you know what the gym personnel did? he called maintenance and he ordered him to lift one treamill machine at a time, as he and the girl look for the ring.
sabi ko na nga noon (I was running that time), sa dinami-dami ng ininom nito supplements, vitamins and oras na inubos sa pagpapalaki ng muscles, mag-rerely din pala sa mga blue collars. what a waste ... pagkakataon na magamit sa mabuting paraan hehehe

at least 30min heavy bag training while secretly playing "going the distance" theme from Rocky movies on my mp3 player on the last 10 minutes. funny but effective, hehe
