my major motivating factor: my gf: dumadami mga guy friends nya sa gym while taking aerobic classes. and some of these guys are overweight also pero pa-cool effect. my gf is befriending them a lot of them to spite me coz hindi ako enthusiastic pag-marriage ang pinag-uusapan.
in less than 2 months, I lost 45 pounds! naunahan ko pa yun mga hinayupak na mga guys na nag- mix aero boxing, weights, cycling etc ... mabuti na lang nagbago gf ko, kung hindi baka hindi ko pa siya naging asawa coz I hated her so much during those days.
now, 3 years later, lumipat na ako ng gym and I can still see these guys on my friendster. overweight pa din, ang lalakas kasi kumain eh. after workout, iinvite sila as group with some girls and my gf and me (parang pilit lang) at kakain kami sa labas. even sa bora, ang lalakas kumain. isang liempo kulang pa sa kanila.
kung gusto nyo ng motivation, the best ito! flirting gf! and wala pa ako mp3 player nya, protein supplements, mga south beach diet or salad.
join 'em then beat 'em.

^ hahaha the best motivation nga yan :D
sakin naman yung motivation ko nong first time ako mag gym ay yung mga condescending people sa office dati na talagang nagpaparining na naggygym (ginawang status symbol ang fitness first amp!) tapos spewing forth yung mga typical workout myths to anyone who will listen.
sobrang nainis ako kasi mga know-it-all na puro naman mali. pero syempre tahimik lang ako and let them waste their money and time, all the while todo cutting na ako in preparation for the company outing hehehe.
nong andon na kami sa beach, ayon na, todo sleeveless shirts showing off their big flabby arms and saying na masakit daw magbuhat etc. ako pasimple lang, ordinaryong t-shirt lang, nong magswimming na kami at hinubad ko, tumahimik sila lahat. sabay hirit "uy.. nag gy-gym ka rin pala?" may pseudo-six pack pa ako non e hehehehe
