    I've seen guys who are chubby and conquer the mountains. I think it is not about the weight but it is more of endurance and proper breathing technique.

    thx paps..medyo i have no problem sa endurance and pacing coz i came from mtb doing century and all day rides, its my companions...like the wife..baka mahirapan

    also note, mainit sa trail if sunny ang forecast. bring at least 2l water per person. best to go very early in the morning.

    not sure if the "guide" and "multiple registration" issue is already fixed though. it's been years since i last set i last hiked that mountain.

    Actually this will be better for you. Less mass to carry but youre still super fit, cut and strong. Those numbers are huge by any standard.
