its not in real time, it monitors the hr every hr or so, to track the workout accurately you need to manually turn it on, unlike fitbit, plug and play...

4 sets of deadlifts, 4 sets of rack pulls. i also included some accessory work for the back. a plus 2 reps on the last weeks PR weight..

Using the Garmin Connect app, I can't find the calories burned. It's available on the watch but not on the app. Weird. I can sync it to myfitnesspal though just like Fitbit. What I like is it's ability to track my biking.

Fitbit still wins the app race. It's straightforward and the widgets are more useful.
