I really want to take care of my heart. Is it okay to maintain 80% MHR doing 45 min cardio even if I am not in the best shape?

Take it slow. Schedule 3-7 gym visits a week. Track your intake(80% intake 20% gym). Youll hear about fasted cardio if you dig deep into gym lifestyles.. those are painful 😥
