    Yes, compound exercises are the best. I actually like the program of Mark Rippetoe which focuses on starting strength. Maganda siya lalo sa beginners that instead of doing lots and lots of unnecessary exercises, you will only do a few exercises but sure to focus on multiple muscles. And of course, squat is in there. Plus he doesn't want you to use those machines.

    Ngayon sa bahay nalang ako nagwo workout, too lazy to go to the gym. I just finished my 30 days doing the PLP and boy, andaming ko ng callous due to pullups. Ang isa ko pang pina practice ngayon ay pistol squat kaso ang hirap! I am not much on cardio but what I love to do is jump ropes, around 15 mins ok na.

    I'm guessing 90% of us at the gym do cardio before weights. I do the same. I feel like I don't have enough strength for weights if I don't do my cardio. The cardio revs me up. Normally I would so cardio after working out for cool down na lang.

    I have no idea and I have no plans of joining either. Most people there go to the gym to socialize, mas marami pa kwento sa workout. Dami pang bakla.

    Pansin ko nga na ganun sila. Angtagal sa gym, panay kwento. Eh ako pa naman ma-PR akong tao, lalo na pag chicks. Haha. Triny ko kasi yung 30 days nila na promo.

    Tapos after ng konting workout inom ng inom ng libreng juice at soda Buti sana kung intense workout na kakailanganin ng matinding sugar.

    tama ka dyan... ganyan din ako dati... naging kunting buhat at puro tambay nalang ang gym.... then nagkaka ayaan lumabas....

    pero in fairness naman... lumiit waist ko nun from 40" bumaba ng 29" lang and below 9% ang body fat... (ngayon lumaki na ulit) kaya mas maiigi pa din sa gym tumambay at maki pag socialize.....

    Yep, mas maganda effect saken ng cardio before weights kaya ibabalik ko. Ginawa ko kasi weights na lang kaya medyo nagbulky yung katawan ko. Waistline ko ngayon 32 ibabalik ko lang sa 30. Hehe.

    Hehe.... ganyan naamn maam cathy. pero maganda kasi facilities ng fitness first and gold's gym compared sa ibang mumurahin na gym....
