April 4th, 2013 08:42 AM #881Yes, compound exercises are the best. I actually like the program of Mark Rippetoe which focuses on starting strength. Maganda siya lalo sa beginners that instead of doing lots and lots of unnecessary exercises, you will only do a few exercises but sure to focus on multiple muscles. And of course, squat is in there. Plus he doesn't want you to use those machines.
Ngayon sa bahay nalang ako nagwo workout, too lazy to go to the gym. I just finished my 30 days doing the PLP and boy, andaming ko ng callous due to pullups. Ang isa ko pang pina practice ngayon ay pistol squat kaso ang hirap! I am not much on cardio but what I love to do is jump ropes, around 15 mins ok na.

tama ka dyan... ganyan din ako dati... naging kunting buhat at puro tambay nalang ang gym.... then nagkaka ayaan lumabas....
pero in fairness naman... lumiit waist ko nun from 40" bumaba ng 29" lang and below 9% ang body fat... (ngayon lumaki na ulit) kaya mas maiigi pa din sa gym tumambay at maki pag socialize.....
